Using wordpress RSS feeder from WP-robot with Nominate

Hi,
I am using WP-robot version 3.11(the latest) to grab some external story to my Nominate site.
But somehow the auto thumbnails does not show up.
when using manual it have no issue.
how to make wp-robot work together with Nominate?

Unfortunately, we can't provide support on 3rd party plugins.

You should read through the plugin instructions or contact the author for help with the plugin.

May I know the function of the automatic thumbnail use in Nominate?
Does is use custom field?
If yes the I may alter te custom field with the plugins setting.

I think I've figure it out..
I look into database and found that those auto thumbnail use "_vote_url" customfield to snap the website thumb.

@onlinebisnes.. I am also using WPRobot plugin.. Have you found out the option or hack to auto thumbnail for feeds posted through WProbto.. if so please help me...

Do I only have to map the storys url from wp robot to the _vote_url custom field for thumbnails to work?

Hey Holger - I am afraid I have never used WP Robot so I don't know how it would function, but I have tried other automated services without much joy. I'd be very interested to know if you can work out how to set it up as it would be very cool to integrate something like this and then generate content automatically.

I haven't used WP Robot or a simmilar plugin yet. But I think this is a very legit usage for such a service and I am thinking about buying it. I read a bit thorugh the documentation and it sounds like WP Robot has some nice features to hook into nominate.

You can map different values from the individual modules to custom field. So it should be possible to map the source url to the _vote_url custom field. You can although map attached images of the rss field to a custom field or use as featured post thumbnail (not shure if nominate uses a custom field or the post_thumbnail feature from wp). Finaly you can choose an author for the campains.

With such a random user vote function and WP Robot you could truly build autmated story submitters which would almost look like human users ;)

I will give WP Robot a try in a few weeks an let you know how it worked out.
