By default, the_excerpt function strips out HTML. Is that what you're experiencing? That is unrelated to the theme.

darren, the problem has a direct bearing on a template because it arose ONLY in template Mimbo - pages were displayed incorrectly, they looked how on screenshots, ONLY in Mimbo, other templates showed pages normally.

In a template there were unmotivated functions for display meta tag description.
It copes separate plug-ins much more conveniently and better.
I simply cut out the big piece of a code and have left a conclusion regular description.

Has then sent me the corrected file theme_functions.php. I have replaced this file in a template - the problem has disappeared.

I specially have now returned back a standard file theme_functions.php that you could look what exactly does not work.

If I instead of a standard file theme_functions.php use a file corrected by my friend all is displayed correctly.
I have sent you this corrected file theme_functions.php that you have looked in what there was a problem.

You can experiment with the template: to enter in any post in the field excerpt the link with tag <- a->, then to open this post in separate page and to look above - you will see the same that I see: the text from a field excerpt on the top of page.

admin, you correctly speak. But the link in the field excerpt should be shown normally in the message announcement, and at the same time it should not deform page at message viewing.

admin, forgive - I know English language badly (one business to translate into Russian words and phrases which meet in the Internet often [therefore I has easily translated template Mimbo], and quite another matter - to be guided on English-speaking page where it is a lot of words and phrases which are unknown to me absolutely)...

And one more question: when there will be a new version of a template - I should buy it? Simply to update - it will be already impossible?
