Pre-Purchase questions?

Hello - I wasn't able to find anywhere to ask pre-sales questions on the site but I have two questions about Mimbo Pro before I purchase? 1) Is it possible to change the top image area from a single picture and then some links (Recent News or Posts in the demo of the theme) to a rotating image that goes all the way across, similar to a Featured Content widget or a page like this: http://wptheme1.mipdesign.com/ 2) I'd like to use the Pages across the top navigation instead of categories? Is that easily switched? Or, can I use posts but remove the dates? This site is more of an information site so I'm looking to use the theme for CMS functionality. Thank you for your help! |

I can answer to you second question: it's very simple to change the top navigation. The options are stored in the "Mimbo Pro Options" and with a click you can choose to display pages or categories. |

The theme is not currently equipped to do it by default, but it wouldn't be too tough to insert some slideshow code into the masthead div. If you Google 'jQuery slideshow' there are plenty of options. Or are you looking for a specific WP plugin? |

I'd love to know a specific WP plugin that someone may have tried. Or, I'll look through and post back. I need the client to be able to upload and change the images herself which is why it really would be easier to be a plug in. A |
