Need to remove the Mimbopro 'bird' from header

Can anyone tell me how to remove the yellow bird on the Mimbopro header (magazine template)? Need to get this template done ASAP.

I'm trying to make my header have 7 different links on it.
I've cut my banner into 7 jpeg's but need to know how to implement it.

Do you mean the colored squares in the masthead? Looks like you've already done it?
