Mysterious Text Showing Up in Popular Posts Widget

I just realized there is some random text popping up in mini-column on the Blog Page when I add a widget into the Center Homepage Column....... You can see it here: http://www.jinamoore.com/blog/ I don't know where that text "This is just a test......etc" - I don't know where that text is coming from - I can't figure it out......I don't think I messed with any core files - and I've put a new Elemental update in recently -- but is there somewhere that could be pulling that text from? |

I've searched through the theme files on my side and there's nothing there showing this popping up so I don't know where this has come from, it's a strange thing to appear. Also I notice it mentions Jina. I checked the html and it seems the top text is an h1 and the bottom text is a paragraph. h1's should only show for post titles so do you have a page/ post titles 'This is just a test. Does this do anything?'? |

I can't find any post or page that has that text in it......Darren, do you have any idea where this text might be coming from? I have no idea...... Adam |

You don't have something in your functions.php that's using a filter to hook into this column do you? |

Does this help to come up with any ideas....? http://www.jinamoore.com/blog/ The only time that mysterious text shows up - is when i add that center column to the blog page.....otherwise, it's like it doesn't exist.... |

Are you certain that you don't have a text widget in one of the widget ares in WP admin panel? It both has an H1 and a p element. |

On the other hand - it's not a widget. It's like text put directly into one of the php-files. Can you check these two files in the root of Elemental: pageTemplate_2ColumnWidgets and pageTemplate_2ColumnWidgetsCenterContent |

Yup - those files are exactly fresh files downloaded from the ProThemeDesign.com website. I'm perplexed to say the least.... |

...and if you delete the "Recent" widget it disapears? |

Have you walked through all of the comments in WP to see if there's anything spookey there? |

Hey Adam - did you work this out? I'd be really interested to know how it happened. It looks like you have just removed it for the time being? |

No - I just had to not have that middle sidebar - even though I wanted to - but couldn't find where that text was anywhere... |
