Monetizing Accumulo theme sites

Part of the introductory description for the Accumulo wordpress theme reads "Create and monetize your own social media hub with ease"
How exactly is this done? There are no widgets for banner or text ads. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The WP125 plugin comes with its own widget, as well as the default text widget being an easy method of pasting affiliate code. The space above the tabs is also idea for a 468px ad.
