How to Exclude a Category from "Lead Categories" List

Hi, all,

One of my Categories is my Tweets. However, I don't want my Tweets to be featured as the Lead Post on the Home Page. Is there any way of excluding that Category from being a Lead Category on Home? I was able to effectively exclude the Tweets Category from the Carousel, but not as the Lead Post.

thanks. Mucho appreciated.

When you say lead category, you mean the dark blue box at the top left? If you visit the theme Options page and see Homepage->Lead Category, you'll see that you pick which category you want to display there.

Darren,

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I see that. But, what I am trying to do is "exclude" a category from the lead on the home page. I have a Category called "Success Tweets," but I don't want anything posted there to show on the home page as a lead post (exactly where you indicate - the dark blue box at the top left). I suppose each time a Tweet is posted, and thus it shows up as the lead, I could then temporary designate the category with the next latest post, but that would be a bit of a hassle in light of the fact that - eventually, I hope - I have many Tweet posts ;-).

Thoughts??

Also, I am interested in acquiring another Theme for another sight. Is there any "continued user" discount? I am thinking of using Elemental for the second, a law based site dedicated to Intellectual Property, Internet, Technology and Licensing.

Thanks, D.

Darren,

Just a quick follow up - the theme options page allows me to exclude any category (or categories) from the carousel by highlighting those (using CTL+click) that I want on the carousel. I highlighted all categories, except for "Tweets." What I am looking for is the same functionality to exclude a category from the lead. Perhaps we can build that in??

Thx.

Richard
