Header not working

Hello, new here. Love Elemental, just bought a template. Anyway, I am having an issue with getting the header image to display. I uploaded a 960x100 image - but I get no luv.

Anyway, I also noticed in the demo there was a masthead editor, it doesnt seem to be in my install of Elemental (just downloaded and installed the most current version about an hour or so ago).

Any ideas?

Try downloading Elemental again and upload (overwrite).

I ended up hard coding it into the style =)

Cool, but that is not necessary. If you download and upload/overwrite Elemental and The Local again it will work. I did this on http://www.f1ezine.com and verything is working like a charm.

Whats The Local?

Sorry for the confusion - I thought you were using the child theme The Local on top of Elemental. Please ignore :-)

Hi - sorry you were having problems. I suspect your error with the header is related to TimThumb not working. Once we get that up and running the custom headers should display.

Thanks, I replied to the TimThumb post I made. I couldnt see that masthead widget editor that it says is supposed to be installed with Elemental as well.

Ben I'm having the same issue - masthead widget not shown - did this ever get resolved? Older post so wasn't certain thus piling on considering. I'm using a child theme, learning a lot (painfully) and making progress. WP v2.9.2
