After trying to change the Homepage Settings: Lead Category, Carousel Category, & Category Summaries, I get the following error message on my homepage:

<a href="
Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/philesq/public_html/wp-content/themes/mimboPro_single/index.php on line 123

The selections are set as follows:
Lead Category - All categories (default)
Carousel Category - All categories (default)
Category Summaries - All categories (default)

My website is philsbest.com

thank you

Hi - how long has it been like this?

It use to do this to me because I altered my theme code to have it display certain categories. I deleted one of the categories so it gave me that same exact error. So if you have the theme display certain categories make sure they are correct.

[Hi - how long has it been like this?"]
Since Sunday when I tried to change the Homepage Settings: Lead Category, Carousel Category, & Category Summaries

A little disappointed that someone from ProThemeDesign has not responded to my post to tell me what to do. I paid $200 for a license, they now want more money for the new version and I can't get this one to work.

I am using WordPress 2.8 and Mimbo Pro 1.5

If I change Category Summaries to a particular category, the error goes away, but only one category is visible if it is a subcategory. If I change it to a particular parent category, then you see the summary with links to the other articles.

For instance, if I change Category Summaries to the subcategory "Chocolate", you can only see that category, but if I change the category to "Food" you can see the article in that category and links to articles in the subcategories of "Food"
.
At the moment, I changed the category to "Food".

Hi Phil, sorry about the delay. Assuming the problem is with core code in v1.5, we're going to help get it fixed (free), not upsell you on the new version if you don't want it.

Would you mind filling out a helpdesk ticket with your login info and we can take a look?

Hi Phil - I am from Pro Theme Design and I did respond :)

Unfortunately I don't know what the problem is or how to fix it so I have to get some basic info first. Basically I was trying to work out a pattern as to when the problem started to see if I can then work out why it happened.

We're not going to try to upsell you on the latest version of the theme and will happily help fix technical issues like this with all our themes for free.
