			<description>&#60;p&#62;I'd like my links to appear in a unique page, rather than a side bar. Is this possible within Mimbo?

			<title>dshafer on "Connection of MimboPro to Elemental?"</title>

			<description>&#60;p&#62;Easy, silly question I'm sure.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;What if any is the connection between Elemental and Mimbo Pro? Other than they're both made by the same outfit? &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I read docs on Elemental and it has such an array of amazing things I can control but I am interested in buying a theme because I don't want to muck with graphic design (at which I suck worse than anyone you know). I cut code, so I could theoretically, I suppose, bend Elemental to my graphical will with MimboPro somehow. But I don't want to cut code on this project because it's my site and nobody's paying me!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;So I want MimboPro -- and I'm going to buy it unless the answer to this question dissuades me -- but I'd like to get all the cool goodies (like page templates and all the cool Dashboard stuff in the demo videos) as well. Can do? How?

			<description>&#60;p&#62;I am using Mimbo 3.0 but Timthumb is not working on my front page:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;&#60;a href=&#34;http://obscuresound.com&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;http://obscuresound.com&#60;/a&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I have tried everything from re-uploading the theme from scratch and trying a bunch of CHMOD functions (777, 755, etc... all the CHMOD recommendations don't work).&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I still think it is a permission issue... it fetches images from this source:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;&#60;a href=&#34;http://obscuresound.com/wp-content/themes/mimbo/scripts/timthumb.php?zc=1&#38;#38;w=105&#38;#38;h=85&#38;#38;src=/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/mbell2.jpg&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;http://obscuresound.com/wp-content/themes/mimbo/scripts/timthumb.php?zc=1&#38;#38;w=105&#38;#38;h=85&#38;#38;src=/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/mbell2.jpg&#60;/a&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The odd thing is that mbell2.jpg is actually there, but my server is not letting timthumb access it at all. In fact, timthumb is entirely inaccessible. I get an internal server error when trying to access it: &#60;a href=&#34;http://obscuresound.com/wp-content/themes/mimbo/scripts/timthumb.php&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;http://obscuresound.com/wp-content/themes/mimbo/scripts/timthumb.php&#60;/a&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I have tried re-uploading timthumb and changing CHMOD permissions, but nothing has resolved this.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;My host has an updated GDE Library and all the requirements so I don't know what the issue is.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I would appreciate any support.&#60;/p&#62;

			<title>wtd on "Qwowi.com Front Page Redesign"</title>
			<link>http://forum.prothemedesign.com/topic/qwowicom-front-page-redesign#post-2521</link>
			<pubDate>Sun, 14 Dec 2008 17:01:49 +0000</pubDate>

			<description>&#60;p&#62;I just rolled out some changes to the frontpage of &#60;a href=&#34;http://www.qwowi.com&#34;&#62;Qwowi.com&#60;/a&#62;, and I'd be curious to hear what people think.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Qwowi is primarily a product review site, but when I purchased Mimbo I hadn't really given much thought to what a product review site would actually look like.  What I've found over the last few months is that not only is my site not a traditional blog (which works out fine with Mimbo Pro's CMS features).  I've also discovered that as we've added product categories we've fallen victim to what I call the Mimbo Pro center column sprawl (where the height of the center column greatly surpasses that of the sidebars). &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;My goal was to fit my categories on the front page, without dramatically increasing the vertical space of the page - and to still have some room to add 2 or 3 more categories over the next few months.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Admittedly I've had to make sacrifices (bye, bye sidebars), and it's not quite as stylish as Darren's original design.  I've also lost the ability to control some things from the Mimbo options page (although I have more granular control as a result).  It's obviously still very much Mimbo Pro though (with some inspiration from the original Mimbo).  &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I've got some ideas for tweaking a couple other layout options that I may try and implement after the holidays, but for now, it does what I need it to do.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;What do you guys think?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Thanks,&#60;br /&#62;
Tony

			<description>&#60;p&#62;Can you use Mimbo as a simple vlogger/blogger - non techy type? I love the layout. Most themes are visually wanting - from my training and experience. But I don't want to have to code this and that to get it to work.

			<description>&#60;p&#62;Hi,&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I'm doing some testing for a client of the Mimbo Theme and have a problem which I'm sure one of you bright people will fix right away lol. It's probably something simple.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Anyway, I have the theme installed.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;&#60;a href=&#34;http://spoilertv.co.uk/darkthoughts/&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;http://spoilertv.co.uk/darkthoughts/&#60;/a&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;However the images are not showing. I've uploaded and added them as a Key of &#34;Image&#34; etc.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I looked at the page with Firebug and the link to the image is this.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;&#60;a href=&#34;http://spoilertv.co.uk/darkthoughts/wp-content/themes/mimboPro/scripts/timthumb.php?src=/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/pacpacificphotos0237094pw8.jpg&#38;#38;w=200&#38;#38;h=210&#38;#38;zc=1&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;http://spoilertv.co.uk/darkthoughts/wp-content/themes/mimboPro/scripts/timthumb.php?src=/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/pacpacificphotos0237094pw8.jpg&#38;#38;w=200&#38;#38;h=210&#38;#38;zc=1&#60;/a&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;When I put that link in the browser I get the following.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Internal Server Error&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;What am I doing wrong?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Note:&#60;br /&#62;
scripts folder is set to 777&#60;br /&#62;
cache folder is set to 777&#60;br /&#62;
timthumb.php is set to 777&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Thanks in advance
