Who's your host?</p> <p>First, check that the cache folder exists on the server with write permissions (777) or images can't be saved. If that doesn't work, ask your host if they have mod_security enabled. This does mean you'd have to go backwards and add new fields for all posts, or add some sort of fallback so that it uses the automatic thumbnails if the custom field doesn't exist.</p> <p>The best comments I have for the image size is to make them as square as possible (dimensions don't matter, widtf/ height ratio does).
