Hey Ben! Because I wasn't sure of the version history, I actually downloaded and upgraded Elemental yesterday (my parent theme - of course). No problems what so ever.

Could it not be announced in the Blog or better perhaps in the footer here: http://prothemedesign.com/support/ ? It needs only to be a headline e.g. "Elemental 1.1.3. available". In tandem I think the version number should figure in "My account" and of course in the theme itself.

Hey there. don't tell anyone but I have actually sneaked out an update to the themes :)

I am planning to announce it on the blog this weekend, I just wanted to have some people use it first and see if there were any problems.

The Local hasn't been updated, but Elemental has had loads of updates - and the new features carry over to The Local.

Mimbo Pro has had a handful of updates and all themes will be getting another update at the weekend to introduce custom menus into the mix.

Out of interest how do you think we should display/ announce theme updates?

What are the latest version of e.g. Elemental, The Local and Mimbo Pro? It's not quite transparent to me where we are, and I really want to ensure that I'm on the right level.

Thanks you.

Just thought there must be other themes out there by other programmers that relate to what Ben / Darren have laid out. Just to make for more options available for the designers.

Feedburner feed subscription via email is now available on the blog pages - eg here: http://prothemedesign.com/blog/

Can't really do subscription for the forum as there are multiple feeds for everything (each individual post, topic, category, and tag).

I imagine there are more templates in the works for Pro Theme Design but this is something Ben / Darren should clarify.

With regards to finding another set of templates, what functionality do you have in mind which doesn't exist now?

The design of the themes can be easily adapted using CSS / images so you could use one as a starting point.

Hi,
The pro theme design templates have worked well for me. These templates taught me the whole language of WP.

I'd like to find another set of templates out there which are technically similar, so I don't have to learn a new set of terminologies - something that would be an easy step following the pro design themes. I'm just looking for some more variety, layout-wise.

Now, it may be that many templates on the market are similar enough, I don't even know enough to judge this. Please advise me if you have any ideas.

Thanks kindly,
f

Is there any way to get automatic updates via Email, such as Feedburner subscriptions offer? My RSS-Reader is out of control, and I would like to receive updates directly into my inbox.

I see what the problem is - the custom body class does not use the page names. Your body class looks like:

class="page page-id-14 page-template page-template-pageTemplate_noSidebar-php theme-elemental interior header-text template-pagenosidebar fstack-2 currentMonth-04 hideHeader-1"
so you could use:

body.page-id-14 #fullWrapper {background:#000;}

to target that page.

Thanks for you help Ben. Here is a link.

I removed all the other custom CSS and deactivated all plugins to simplify everything. I have one line of body class in there.

body.page-clients #fullWrapper {background:#000;}

It works when I don't include the specific page like "body.page #fullWrapper {background:#000;}"

Hi, I'm using the Elemental Theme (amazing!) and I need to have certain elements styled differently on different pages. Maybe different backgrounds or have breadcrumbs on specific pages but not others etc. I know I need to use the body class in the css but for some reason I can't get it to work. I'm using a child theme and basically want to do something like the following:

body.page-contact #fullwrapper {background-color:#000;}
body.page-about #fullwrapper {background-color:#ccc;}

I've searched the forums extensively and have seen similar examples and was able to get it to work for a specific category but not for a specific page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!

Thx for the response. I apologize for the delay - I actually forgot about this post, being that the issue was not mission critical. however, I was still looking for this workaround, so I am going to give it a try. Best regards, Richard
