Is there a way to make the carousel follow the order of a plugin i'm using?

The plugin is RS Event http://livingos.com/wp/rs-event-plugin/

It adds a date box to the post write page and creates a list I use via widget in the right sidebar

I would like to make the carousel follow the same order

Can we use the _date tag in the carousel to call for the RS Event?

I noticed that on my home page, after I updated a few minutes ago, the styling of the pagination (bottom of my homepage) changed.

If I didn't screw something up again, can it be changed to defaulting to an indent so it lines up with the left indent of the posts above it?

Right now I think it looks awkward because the pagination "1" touches the left side of the white inner wrapper.

If you don't want it to do that, I'll change it myself in my child theme.

Hi,

I'd like to activate one custom gravatar for my Elemental child theme for those who comment on my blog and don't have one.

How would I do that (and is it scaled down automatically or do I need to create one of a certain size)?
Where do I have to insert what code?

Thanks!

Hi, I've just installed the Elemental Theme on http://aprireunbar.com/.

I need to separate the pages on the top menu in two parts, some on the navigation above the header and some under the header. I saw that it is possible to display the pages on a side and the categories on the other side, but I want to insert the pages on both, and then select which pages to display above, and which to display below.

How can I do??

Thank you very much!

I'd like to have some feedback on my Elemental/The Local on http://www.f1ezine.com

- At this point I've changed the header menu/navigation.
- Added Tables in css in four different formats/sizes (e.g. http://www.f1ezine.com/results/2009 or any single post page)
- Added an asfalt-like background to the "features".
- Setup the JW mediaplayer 4.6 here http://www.f1ezine.com/media-gallery

Currently trying to figure out how to change the entire footer colors...

Elemental rocks, room for improvements, but it totally rocks!

Hi there,

I want something pretty basic, want to have a sidebar for the main page and a different one for the post page, exactly like: http://demo.prothemedesign.com/wordpress/elemental/2008/03/02/shaping-up-in-08-keep-it-simple-cheap/
To do this I must touch de php code or can I do it whith the "widgets" menu in wordpress ?

Thanks!

So I've created a child theme of Elemental with edits to the CSS and PHP files. I've edited a few of the php files, they're in my child theme and they're overwriting the parent theme. Unfortunately, I'm doing some work on postTemplate_noSidebar.php, but it's not overwriting the parent theme. I made the same changes to the parent theme file to make sure I was editing the file I needed to and the changes were made.

I'm new to child themes so I don't know if there are certain files that won't overwrite the parent files or maybe I'm just missing something. Should this file overwrite the parent file if it's in my child theme?

I'm working on a child theme for Elemental and installed the Blue Sky theme to see how it's organized. I set up my own starting with only a style.css, and it loads fine, tried a few tweaks.

The firebug approach to dissecting the CSS organization is definitely something I'm used to taking on, but as someone relatively new to all of this, it would be helpful to have a document/diagram describing how the style sheets are organized and how the inheritance is intended to flow. No one in this industry seems provides that level of documentation, so you might win an award if you went beyond the video tutorials, which are excellently done by the way.

As a side note, I realized the h2 post font size is smaller on the home page of the Elemental parent than the single post page. I re-activated the Elemental parent, and since I haven't made any changes to the core, it seems out of sync with the demo, for what it's worth. A minor thing to fix, but chasing the inheritance through your style sheets inspired me to post this.

Thanks, the theme is a great product.
